About Christine
Christine was born on June 10, 1988. She grew up in Warminster, in
Bucks County, Pennsylvania. She was involved in soccer for many
years. She graduated from William Tennent High School in 2006.
Christine was well known in her neighborhood for babysitting and
being a caring, pleasant person. She attended Bucks County
Community College for two years before transferring to Kutztown
University where she studied graphic design. She worked part time
as a hostess at Outback Steakhouse when she was home from
school. Christine always kept busy and was known to work more
than one job at a time.
Vivacious, carefree, caring, brave, understanding, big-hearted and
determined; these are just some of the many words that describe
this wonderful woman. She has so much to live for and so much to
offer this world. If Christine wanted to accomplish something
nothing could stand in her way. Christine could put a smile on
anyone's face without even talking.
On December 5, 2008 this young lady was involved in a tragic
accident. Christine McGhee, a beautiful 20 year-old sophomore at
Kutztown University was found unconscious and seriously injured
in the school parking lot. This was devastating news for the
Kutztown community as well as our local community.
She was involved in a hit and run and had been dragged about 100
feet by the truck of an acquaintance and left for dead. Found
unconscious, she was flown to the hospital and remained in critical
condition for quite some time. Her injuries included severe trauma
to the head, a shattered jaw, body lacerations, and broken ribs. We
were told that she only had a few days to live. Christine kept
fighting to get better for more than three years, but complications
due to her injures she passed.
